"Attention all heroes! Code RUBY! An army of drones is approaching one of our remote stations! We are assigning Mission Manager Zibelia and his team to vanquish these drones, so good luck to him and his team!" At the point where the announcement concluded, I had already fashioned a team of 15 heroes (two teams of 7 and a leader,) and had recently assigned the leader of each team. Team A's leader was Gaaf Kiisilun, an expert Defender. Team B's leader was Broya Kiisilun, a sharp-shooting Enforcer, and the leader of the ADJ was a master Brawler, Vergis Rhey.

It happened one day at the Factory where famed Manager Nathaniel Zib was working on an enlargement of the infamous "Melissa" virus. The experiment went awry, and all hell broke loose. After that incident, the long, gangly entity stole blueprints for Hero Factory technology and used it to create a massive drone army.
The leaders of the army were Generals Argentum and Aurum, Argentum being silver, and Aurum being gold. Argentum led most of the specialty drones that you will see later, and Aurum led an army of color-coded drones and scouts.
I apologize if I am going to leave you hanging, but this is the end of Chapter 1. Chapter 2 will involve the trip to the station and then the battle will begin there!
